Suburban Studios Fairborn - Dayton

Do not believe the Patty Smith review. I book about 310 rooms every year across the US every year for my job. The new owners are remodeling. This is an amazing family running the hotel. And Jess. I have been working here for 7 weeks. So happy to find this hotel. Very surprised with the room. New floors, new furniture, king bed, solid surface counters throughout, residential fridge new and absolutely clean, stainless sink, 65" Samsung TV. Great option for companies for workers. The boss will enjoy the price and the employees will enjoy the rooms. The family here is working all day every day to take care of guests and improve the property. Absolutely no bugs and clean. Safe location. Thank you for the great stay. I will miss the people here.

The bathroom, bed, and appliances etc. were clean and fully functional. The property was peaceful and quiet at night. Staff, including the front desk and manager, were very helpful. I appreciated the secure entry access. Note: the hotel recently transitioned to Suburban under new management and may still display signage for Fairborn Hotel, which was initially confusing but everything was as expected. Ideal location for Wright-Patterson AFB

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Yes, the outside of the hotel needs updating, but the rooms are wonderful since Choice Hotels purchased the property. The rooms are nice and big, have full size refrigerators and brand new beds. The people that welcome you are extremely nice and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We stay up in the area every month and will continue to stay at this location.

Booked this hotel on Priceline as an express deal. The outside of the hotel looks run down but let me tell you, after I walked through the doors it was completely different. The lobby was clean and tidy. There are cameras that alert you as soon as you step in that you are being recorded. We ended up getting back really late and unloading. The owner approached to make sure we belonged in the hotel. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfy. There was an apartment sized refrigerator in the room. The water pressure wasn’t the worst. I have long, thick hair and was able to wash it just fine in the shower. The staff was amazing. It’s really a don’t judge a book by its cover type of situation. I will say tho if you’re looking for 4 or 5 stars don’t stay here, you’ll be disappointed. But if you’re looking for a safe, comfy, family friendly place to sleep while you’re in the area give them a chance.

Staff is great and very easy to work with. Hotel is clean and being updated. There is a huge 60 inch TV on the wall and a full sized fridge, a microwave, and kitchen sink. Quiet and haven’t dealt with drama like you’d typically see at a place for this price. Highly recommend

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff. Our room was impeccably clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the quiet atmosphere allowed for a truly restful sleep. The bathroom had a fantastic rain shower with great water pressure. We loved the modern and stylish decor, with calming colors and textures. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to attractions. We also appreciated the strong Wi-Fi. The new owners have remodeled and upgraded some of the rooms and are working on the back half soon. Love that the nasty carpet and broken down beds and dressers have been redone a lot easier for us to keep our rooms cleaned when we are doing an extended stay. Laundry room is bigger, they have food and snacks up front you can buy as well. Sucks the pool is closed but for the price you pay it's understandable. Staff are awesome and so helpful. If you needna short Stay or even a long stay I recommend you check out their newly remodeled rooms

We've stayed in many hotels and motels across this nation but this was our first time for an apartment-size refrigerator in the room. AWESOME touch!! Let me tell you about the comfortable beds!!! Like laying down on a cloud ... such a good night's sleep! Don't let the book cover fool you! What it looks like outside has NO bearing on the inside! Clean, comfortable and we would do it again, if need arises.
